Welcome to the Adirondacks!
Franklin County is in the Northern Tier of New York State’s Adirondack Park, bordering Canada and fifteen minutes from the Olympic Village of Lake Placid.
Our immediate area is known for excellent fishing, snowmobiling, kyaking, and canoeing. World class snow skiing, mountain and ice climbing, whitewater rafting, and major hiking trails are fifteen minutes distant. If you’d like a local’s point of view, please don’t hesitate to email us – we’re happy to point you in the direction of some of our favorite local hotels, lodges, and restaurants.
